Jean-Charles Duclos-Vallée is Professor of Hepatology at the Centre Hépato-Biliaire, Paul-Brousse Hospital, Villejuif, Paris–Saclay University, France. He as an international expertise in the management of end stage liver disorders and in transplanted patients more specifically in patients with viral infection, autoimmune disorders and Wilson disease.
He is involved in several functions and expertise as
- Member of expertise group of “Agence Nationale de la Recherche”
- Central Committee of biomedical research and public health
- Member of Aviesan Work Group of “ organoids “
Since 2016, he is the chair of the iLite project (programme d’investissement d’avenir) which promotes the development of a bioconstructed liver.
Since 2020, he is the coordinator of the Federation Hospitalo-Universitaire “Hepatinov” which develops innovative projects for the diagnosis and therapy of liver disorders and also in regenerative medicine.
Since 2018, he is the chair of the French association of biofabrication (https://ifbf-institute.org) which gathers researchers with an expertise on organ bioconstruction.
